OTT

OTT Television

Over the top content (OTT) refers to audiovisual content delivery over the Internet. My company delivers a package of 20 US live television channels to US expatriate subscribers in Europe.

Consumers can access OTT content through any Internet-connected device such as tablets, smartphones, gaming platforms, and smart TVs.

My key interest besides work is philosophy. My extensive library covers many currents of thought.

Lately, I have been fascinated by Speculative and New Realists, as well as Object Oriented Ontology (OOO) – Quentin Meillassoux, Tristan Garcia and Markus Gabriel ("Why the World Does Not Exist").

Utterly provocative – as in: thought provoking – they make the examined life fun to explore: Think of a unicorn in police uniform hiding behind the moon. In OOO, against Kant, this thought is a valid and entirely knowable object as real as the Empire State Building or me typing here :)

And then there is the quantum theory of Ruth Kastner – Relativistic Transactional Interpretation or RTI –which echoes remarkably Gilbert Simondon's philosophy of relations, the two bodies of work of major interest to me right now.
